Every sit is different and each is negotiated during the interview process since I don’t charge for every single add on that sitting services do. I have included examples of recent sits below to give you an idea prior to the interview.
Peter, Paul & Barry
A 2 year old Cocker Spaniel named Peter and a kitten named Paul, a half dozen indoor houseplants, 20(ish) outdoor potted plants, Barry the goldfish, 1 outdoor stray the homeowners were caring for. 34 day sit for a total of 4760.00 or $140.00 a day. This included 2 walks a day for Peter, playtime/social time for Paul everyday, daily feeding of Barry the goldfish and 3 water changes, twice weekly watering of potted plants..0
Jasmine
Jasmine was a treat to watch, she was an elder black lab with diabetes and recovering from a hip surgery. She required meds 3 times a day for her hip as well as injections for her diabetes. Part of her rehab was keeping the hip active so we did mini walks every 3 hours during daylight hours. Aside from Jasmine her owner had an extensive outdoor potted plant collection that needed watering daily due to the climate. 17 day sit for a total of $3060.00 or $180.00 a day. I don’t have a picture of Jasmine so enjoy a picture of Wilford Brimley, because…diabetes.
